Slow By Damel

Slow is my 3rd single release in 2020 and I’ll see the year out with it.

First heard the song as sung by Rumer on ‘Later with Jools Holland’ and loved it’s beauty. It prompted me to do a cover of it with a reggae feel. I wanted an orchestral sound to the weight of the bass and drums, plus a live harp and flute, so thanks to Julia Mascetti and Sarah Tobias respectively.

But the maestro Lindel Lewis struck again in instrumentation and production.  One take vocally for me did it. .
