Someday we’ll all be free

 

What a “ting” it is!  I heard and adored this song as delivered by the great Donny Hathaway when in my early 20s.  Years later with my group Kwest we did our own version, with me on lead voice. I didn’t see it as a challenge in any way,  just beauty and meaning to embrace.  I’m so happy it’s been so well received with its own genuinity and fluidity. 

   I shot a video of the song as a remote virtual tribute for the 3rd Anniversary of the Grenfell Tower fire.  Such was the reaction that it had to be released as a single. It’s since topped charts...
